Florida Panthers Betting Odds: Tkachuk Reunion Fuels Atlantic Favourite
A Tkachuk reunion and a full goaltending reset headline Florida Panthers betting odds after one of the more chaotic seasons a contender has produced in years.
Last season was defined by injuries rather than form. Captain Aleksander Barkov missed the entire campaign with a knee problem, while Matthew Tkachuk, Seth Jones, Brad Marchand, Sam Reinhart and Anton Lundell all lost significant stretches of the schedule. The result was a seventh place finish in the Atlantic and no playoff hockey.
PowerPlay Sportsbook has Florida at 7.50 to win the Stanley Cup and 2.70 to win the Atlantic Division, the shortest price in the group.

Where the Market Has Florida Landing
A 1.10 price to make the playoffs is about as close as the board gets to a lock. It says plenty about how differently the market reads last season's collapse compared to a genuine decline.
The gap between finishing seventh and pricing in as the division's clear favourite comes down to health rather than talent. Florida's core barely played together last season. The market is betting that changes this year.
For sports betting purposes, that makes the Atlantic Division winner market one of the sharper early prices on the board, with Florida standing at the top of the group.
Reuniting the Tkachuks
General manager Bill Zito wasted little time landing Brady Tkachuk from Ottawa, sending the Senators a package built entirely of draft capital, the No. 9 and No. 25 picks in the 2026 draft, a conditional first round pick in 2029 and a second round pick in 2027, to reunite him with older brother Matthew.
Brady posted 59 points in 60 games last season and arrives as a candidate for the top line, giving Florida a pair of siblings on the same forward group for the first time.
A New Name in Net
Florida let Sergei Bobrovsky walk in free agency, and he landed in Toronto on a 3 year deal. In his place, Zito traded for Jacob Markstrom from New Jersey, sending Evan Rodrigues, Jesper Boqvist and Ben Steeves the other way, with Akira Schmid brought in behind him as backup.
It is a full reset in net for a team that had leaned on Bobrovsky through consecutive championship runs, and Markstrom's performance is likely to shape how far this roster travels.

Atlantic Division Landscape
Odds correct at time of publication and subject to change.
Florida sits at the top of the group, with Tampa Bay and Montreal the other clubs inside single figures. Everyone else in the division is priced closer to a wild card fight than a genuine run at top spot.
What Has to Go Right
Health is the entire story. Barkov's return to form after a lost season, Marchand staying available and Matthew Tkachuk avoiding the kind of absences that hit him last year would put a genuinely stacked top six back on the ice together.
Markstrom's transition into the net is the other major variable, replacing a goaltender who anchored two deep playoff runs.
The 2.70 division price and the 1.10 playoff price both point the same direction: a team the market expects to look very different from the one that finished seventh a year ago.
