Toronto Raptors Betting Odds 2026-27: Kawhi & 45.5 Wins
Toronto Raptors betting odds for 2026-27 come with a tempting comparison: the wins line is 45.5, and last season's team won 46. Now Kawhi Leonard is back, seven years after helping bring the NBA championship to Canada.
PowerPlay Sportsbook has Toronto at 25.00 to win the NBA Championship, 10.00 in the Eastern Conference and 7.00 in the Atlantic Division.

The Wins Line Sits Half a Game Under Last Season
Toronto finished 46-36 and fifth in the East, a 16-win improvement and its first playoff appearance since 2022. The Raptors pushed Cleveland to seven games without Immanuel Quickley, who missed the series with a hamstring strain.
Over 45.5 at 1.85 needs 46 wins. Under 45.5 at 1.70 needs 45 or fewer, so the under is the shorter price. Matching last season would land the over, but that comparison alone does not establish value.
Toronto gave up Brandon Ingram and Gradey Dick to acquire Leonard. The over case rests on him improving the team while Barnes, Barrett and Quickley keep it competitive on any nights he is rested.
Seventy-Six Days in Limbo, Then a Homecoming
The trade took 76 days to become official while the NBA investigated whether the Clippers had used outside arrangements to get around the salary cap. Los Angeles was fined US$30 million and lost five first-round picks. Owner Steve Ballmer was suspended for a year.
Leonard was fined US$700,000 but was not suspended, and his contract stood. Toronto sent Ingram, Dick, unprotected first-round picks in 2031 and 2033, a pick swap and two second-round picks. A reported two-year extension worth US$115 million followed; the club confirmed a multi-year deal without releasing figures.
Now 35, Leonard comes off a season in which he averaged 27.9 points across 65 games for the Clippers last season and made the All-NBA Second Team. He scored 21 points in 17 minutes in his preseason return against New York on 13 October.
The Canadian Playing for His Next Contract
RJ Barrett was born in Toronto and helped Canada win bronze at the 2023 World Cup. He is entering the final year of his contract, worth US$29.6 million this season, and can become an unrestricted free agent next summer.
Barrett won Game 6 against Cleveland with a three in the final seconds of overtime. He also led Toronto in scoring in the preseason win over the Clippers in Vancouver.
For bettors, the useful early signal is how many shots and minutes Barrett gets alongside Leonard. A new star changes the distribution of scoring opportunities; an expiring contract does not guarantee a scoring jump.
Barnes Earns His Defensive Recognition
Scottie Barnes made the All-Defensive Second Team last season, his first selection, and finished fifth in Defensive Player of the Year voting. He also appeared in 80 regular-season games.
Leonard and Barnes are both listed in the league's Most Valuable Player (MVP) market below. Watch how they share shots and playmaking opportunities as Toronto builds its new rotation.

Thirteen Straight Regular-Season Defeats to the Knicks
New York won both the NBA Championship and the NBA Cup last season. Toronto enters 2026-27 with 13 consecutive regular-season losses to the Knicks. The preseason win does not change that record.
The Knicks are Atlantic favourites at 2.80. Philadelphia, now with LeBron James and Jaylen Brown, are 3.00, followed by Boston at 3.50. Toronto are fourth in the division market at 7.00.
Atlantic Division: Winner
Odds are decimal and subject to change.
Four Atlantic teams are priced at 7.00 or shorter. Backing Toronto for the division means asking them to finish above all three shorter-priced rivals, not simply to reach the playoffs. Their first two regular-season meetings with New York are both in Toronto.
A Second Number Goes Into the Rafters
Kyle Lowry signed a one-day contract and retired as a Raptor in the summer. His No. 7 will be retired this season, becoming only the second retired number in franchise history after Vince Carter's No. 15.
Lowry was the point guard on the 2019 title team. Leonard was its Finals MVP. Both are back in the building this season, one on the floor and one on the banner.
What Has to Go Right
Darko Rajaković enters his fourth season with a new multi-year extension, and former Rockets head coach Stephen Silas has joined his bench. Leonard, Barnes, Barrett, Quickley and Jakob Poeltl form the core.
The early games should show how that group shares the ball and whether smaller lineups can finish defensive possessions with rebounds. Toronto opens at home against Chicago, whose roster includes Norman Powell, another member of the 2019 championship team.
For the 45.5-win line, focus on regular-season availability and the team's ability to win through absences. For the 10.00 conference and 25.00 championship bets, Leonard staying available through successive playoff rounds becomes central to the case. The 1.35 playoff price concerns qualification, not how far Toronto might advance.
